Strategic Relationships Specialist
The Ohio Society of CPAs
The Ohio Society of CPAs (OSCPA) seeks a personable and self-motivated individual to co-lead sales endeavors and build strategic alliances that will provide an exceptional network of resources to serve Certified Public Accountants and their businesses.
This person will:
- Be responsible for the cultivation and growth of exhibiting, advertising and sponsorship sales
- Enhance the relationships and engagement of OSCPA affinity partners (member benefits)
- Ensure exceptional vendor and affinity partner experience and service
- Recommend ideas to help members take advantage of OSCPA resources to increase member engagement
- Work with affinity partners and other strategic partners to submit articles for OSCPA publications and website
- Assist in the creation of marketing campaigns and sales materials
- Assist in creating new member benefits, raise awareness of existing benefits, and assist with the recruitment and retention of members by further enhancing the member value proposition
Required skills:
- Must enjoy and thrive on building positive relationships with a diverse group of people and businesses
- Have a friendly, positive customer service based attitude
- Be able to speak persuasively on the phone, in written communications and in person with small to large groups
- Excel in organizational, project planning and communication skills
- Knowledge and use of current Windows operating systems, current Microsoft Office products, and general knowledge of customer database applications
- A Bachelor’s degree in business management or administration, marketing, public relations; or a relevant degree with more extensive work experience
- Some travel is required
