December CAE Exam Scholarship Deadline

Realizing that some association professionals may have to reach into their own pockets to cover some or all of the fees associated with taking the Certified Association Executive (CAE) test, the OSAE has established a CAE Scholarship Fund. The OSAE Board of Directors wants to ensure that the cost to take the exam does not deter anyone in Ohio from pursuing the designation.

The OSAE CAE Scholarship Fund will reimburse up to up to a limit of $500 for a person's out-of-pocket expenditures related to taking the exam.

This scholarship is available to current members of OSAE.  Along with a completed scholarship application form, individuals applying for the scholarship must also provide proof from ASAE that he/she has qualified to sit for the CAE Exam.  There is an expectation that scholarship recipients will participate in the OSAE Study Group Program. 

Scholarship monies will be distributed in advance of the individual taking the test; however, if he/she decides not to take the test after the scholarship has been awarded, the funds must be returned to OSAE. If the scholarship recipient takes the test but does not pass, the scholarship money does not have to be returned.
