IT Project Coordinator

The American Ceramic Society

The American Ceramic Society is seeking an IT Project Coordinator to ensure the streamlined operation of IT vendor/contractor support services, association management system support, website project support, and technology-related operations in alignment with the business objectives of the organization. This individual will collaborate with internal and external business partners to ensure efficient operation of technology, and technology-related, solutions.

POSITION REQUIREMENTS and TECHNICAL SKILLS REQUIRED

  • Bachelor’s degree in business administration, computer science, or significant courses in computer science, or equivalent experience
  • 3–4 years of vendor/contractor management and/or project management experience
  • 2–3 years of information technology experience
  • 1–2 years of website design/coding (WordPress) experience, familiarity with CSS, widgets, themes and plugins
  • Operational knowledge of SQL server and related database helpful
  • Requires strong technical capability, including understanding and ability to consult on website design and system integrations
  • Experience with association management systems (particularly, Abila netFORUM is a PLUS)
  • Experience with fulfillment service and customer service vendors
  • Experience with Mac and Windows PC environments
  • Experience and/or exposure to network security, backup & disaster recovery, and telecommunications
  • Keen understanding of network servers, server hosting and off-site data storage
  • Exposure to mobile device support (iPads, iPhones, Android devices)
  • Experience or exposure with/to cPanel administration
