Administrative Assistant/Receptionist

Position Description:

Performs a wide range of administrative and front office support activities to facilitate the efficient operation of the organization. This is an excellent position for an individual who would like to join a fast-paced, growing organization and be an integral member of our team.

 Position Requirements:

  • Proven organization and time management skills, ability to multitask with attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality on a wide range of issues as well as excellent interpersonal, written and verbal communication skills.
  • General office administrative functions such as greeting guests, answering phones, filing, copying, mailings, and other special projects as assigned.
  • Demonstrates creative, preemptive and problem solving demeanor.
  • Composes, edits, and proofreads correspondence, presentations and reports, and prepares a variety of administrative documents.
  • Interacts professionally with all internal and external members using exceptional customer service skills.
  • Knowledge, understanding and service scheduling of office equipment, ordering and inventory of building supplies and assistance with overall operations of headquarter facilities.
  • Ability to perform work that requires frequent standing, bending, reaching, squatting, kneeling, moving, lifting of files and/or boxes up to 30 pounds.

 Minimum Qualifications:

  • High School Diploma. Additional education/training preferred.
  • Three years administrative work experience required.
  • Proficient in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and knowledgeable with internet navigation and other web based programs.
  • Ability to multitask, work effectively independently and as a member of a team.
  • Willingness to work flexible hours including occasional evenings and weekends.
