Administrative Assistant

Ohio Grocers Association

Basic functions: administrative support for the association and assisting the CEO.
Duties include: 

  • registration for association events
  • management of association member databases
  • general overall housekeeping
  • day-to-day functioning of an office

Reports to COO and President/CEO. Associations are OGA, OGF, MSMA, MDFA and YAGA. President/CEO Communication. Principle duties and responsibilities: 

  • Maintaining calendars as needed, travel arrangement as needed, prepare, edit and proof documentation

General Office Duties

  • Coordinates details of board meetings and events, packets, registration and additional follow-up with registrations
  • Order fulfillment of all SuperPosters and kits
  • All other duties as requested by the president/CEO and COO
  • Office supply inventory, building maintenance, birthday, anniversary’s, greets guest and handles mail
  • Supporting the staff when assigned

Membership

  • Manages, maintains and handles reporting for membership database for all association through Access
  • Updates and distributes information to current members as well as prospective members through all communication outlets
  • Assist the COO in continually creating communications to seek out new members and upgrading current members on membership programs

Skills and Qualifications

  • Access database
  • Basic computer knowledge
  • Familiar with MS office tools and internet
  • Good writing and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to operate basic office equipment such as copiers, printers and mail machines
