An arts organization offers its members discounts on a new visualization tool—and sweetens the deal with a bit of competition.

What is it? Americans for the Arts, a group representing individuals and organizations that support the fine arts, is offering its members a 30 percent discount on the app Visme, which allows users without a lot of design knowledge to create spiffy presentations and infographics. (Prices for the tool range from $15 to $28 per month, with annual memberships available at a steep discount.) To get members to try the app, the organization is suggesting they sign up for the Visualize Me contest, which encourages entrants to tell their life story using the Visme platform.
