Buzzfeed's Chris Geidner to Keynote OSBA Annual LGBTQ & Allies Diversity & Inclusion Conference

The Ohio native is one of several leading scholars who will present

Legal editor for Buzzfeed News and Ohio native, Chris Geidner, Esq. will keynote the sixth annual Ohio State Bar Association (OSBA) LGBTQ and Allies Diversity and Inclusion Conference to be held at OSBA Headquarters in Columbus on June 14, 2017.

“Exploring Bias and Navigating the Shifting Legal Landscape” is this year’s conference theme. Participants will benefit from interactive implicit bias training by The Ohio State University Kirwan Institute for the Study of Race and Ethnicity, as well as legal and legislative updates from both a national and state perspective. Panelists include Geidner, Ohio State Representative Nickie Antonio (District 13), Professor Mark Strasser of Capital University Law School, General Counsel for ACLU of Ohio Susan Becker, Esq., Kyle Palazzolo, Esq. of Lambda Legal, and Joe Henry, a constituent advocate to Senator Sherrod Brown.

The annual OSBA LGBTQ and Allies Diversity and Inclusion Conference has become an invaluable resource for legal practitioners, law firm diversity leaders, human resource professionals and anyone with an interest in LGBTQ rights. It is a marquee event for the OSBA and its continuing mission to promote and expand diversity in the legal profession.

Geidner is a graduate of Youngstown State University and The Ohio State University Moritz College of Law.
