ASAE Updates Lobbying Guidelines

These guidelines reinforce ethical principles association lobbyists strive to uphold

In conjunction with American Associations Day last month, the American Association of Association Executive's (ASAE) Public Policy Committee released an updated version of the organization's Association Lobbying Guidelines.

These guidelines reinforce ethical principles association lobbyists and all association professionals strive to uphold when representing their members before government officials. The ASAE Public Policy Committee formed a diverse working group to tackle the revision of the guidelines last year, which were then approved by the ASAE Board of Directors.
