PASRR Must Be Submitted Via HENS Effective December 30

This week, the Ohio Department of Medicaid (ODM) distributed a memorandum advising various entities of the upcoming rule changes affecting the submission of the ODM 3622 form, the Preadmission Screening and Resident Review (PASRR) form. These entities include PASSPORT Administrative Agencies, Hospital Discharge Planners, Nursing Facilities, and the County Boards of Developmental Disabilities. The most noteworthy change is that beginning on December 30, PASRR forms will be required to be submitted via the Healthcare Electronic Notification System (HENS).
