CMS Extends 855A Revalidation Due Date

Guidance released by the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services (CMS) on November 5 extends the deadline for nursing homes to complete the revalidation process as required for compliance with transparency reporting regulations to May 1, 2025. The agency’s deadline revision from October 1, 2024, is a positive step and follows months of LeadingAge advocacy on behalf of members.
