Medicaid Halts Batch Disenrollments, Works to Correct

Last week, Ohio Medicaid began issuing mass disenrollments from MyCare Ohio with an effective date of August 1. This week, ODM officials shared that they have halted these batch disenrollments and are now working toward reenrolling these individuals and backdating their enrollment to August 1. These appear to have occurred because of third party liabilities that were present for these enrollments. Questions regarding this issue may be sent to Susan Wallace at swallace@leadingageohio.org.
