TOMORROW: Ohio Department of Aging Virtual Town Hall

The Ohio Department of Aging (ODA) is hosting a virtual town hall meeting on Friday, September 19, from 10:00 a.m. to noon. Older Ohioans, caregivers, providers, and community members will have the opportunity to engage in meaningful discussions aimed at helping Ohioans live longer, healthier lives with dignity and autonomy.

Feedback gathered during the town hall will be used to inform the development of Ohio’s 2027–2030 State Plan on Aging. Those who wish to participate by sharing opinions, views, and ideas are encouraged to register here.

In addition to the event, ODA is inviting individuals to complete the Statewide Needs Assessment Survey to further share their perspectives on aging in Ohio. This dual approach ensures broad input as the agency shapes priorities for the years ahead.

Questions about the town hall may be directed to elderconnections@age.ohio.gov. LeadingAge Ohio encourages members to attend and to complete the survey to ensure the voice of nonprofit providers is well represented in the state planning process.
