I love firsts. First conversations with someone you’ve just met. First kisses. First time holding a newborn baby. First times in a new place.
And first lines of a book are always, always part of my decision to read forward.
Part of my job is talking to people who think Brains on Fire might be a good for fit for their organization’s dreams and goals. It’s a fascinating way to make a living, really. I adore it. Because each day offers the possibility that something new and wonderful is about to begin in the world.
