ASAE Program to Explore Successful Fly-Ins

It will examine how association GR professionals execute a successful event

On April 1, 2019, the American Society of Association Executives (ASAE) will host a program from 3-5 p.m. to examine how association government relations professionals plan and execute a successful legislative fly-in to take their organizations’ advocacy messages directly to elected officials. The program, supported by ASAE’s Power of A program and the Government Relations Section Council, is part of ASAE’s Government Relations Symposium Series.

Panelists for the program include Chad Lawler, executive director of the Madison Area Builders Association; Elizabeth Sukut, a legislative aide to Sen. Tammy Duckworth (D-IL); and Randy Dwyer, director of advocacy and grassroots for the American Farm Bureau Federation (AFBF).

The program will be held at ASAE’s offices in Washington, D.C. with a networking reception to follow from 5:00-6:00 p.m. Visit the ASAE website to register.
