Governor Mike DeWine announced the state is not ready to announce an opening date for childcare centers as they are continuing to work on their plan.

"It's very important that we get this right. We don't want to announce a date until we have the protocols in place. We're focusing on the safety of the kids, their families, and the employees," he said.

Though he did not provide a date, he added it won't be long until they announce it.
