Urge Lawmakers to Provide All Nonprofits with Federal Assistance

The U.S. Senate needs to help everyone - not just 501(c)(3) and 501(c)(19) organizations

On May 15, the U.S. House of Representatives passed the Health and Economic Recovery Omnibus Emergency Solutions (HEROES) Act, which would expand the Paycheck Protection Program (PPP) to all associations and nonprofits. OSAE is urging you to make progress in the Senate.

To weigh in with your senator, please follow the form and add details from your own association. The more your personalize the message and tell your story, the more effective our efforts will be.

To complete the form letter, please select this link.

From training emergency responders to organizing blood donations to providing critical support to medical professionals, associations are moving America forward. We need Congress to know as well.

Once in the form, please edit the text to list the name of your association in the first line. Feel free to add in any other details about your association and the communities you serve. This personalized letter will have a much greater impact than simply submitting the form "as is."

OSAE is also asking our members to assist ASAE in helping to share stories about how your association has been impacted by COVID-19. We know associations are facing dire economic consequences due to event cancellations, sharp membership declines and major revenue losses while also doing incredible work now to assist communities in fighting COVID-19. Please send your emails to publicpolicy@asaecenter.org

We thank you in advance for your commitment to protecting Ohio's association community!
