Nurses Out Front
Nurses have very much been on the front lines of the recent COVID-19 crisis, though their voices often haven’t been in front of the conversation.
But a new portrait collection created in partnership with the American Association of Critical-Care Nurses is giving those nurses a prominent voice. AACN teamed with DearWorld.org, an ongoing art project that uses photographers from around the world and a distinctive marker-on-skin storytelling motif, to highlight the stories of critical-care nurses in one of the country’s hot spots, southern Louisiana.
