More Than 30,000 Jobless Claims Filed in Ohio Last Week

The state has paid out more than $5.5 billion in the last 18 weeks

The state reported Thursday that more than 30,000 unemployment claims were filed for the week ending with July 18.

Last week's total is more than 244,000 less than the peak earlier this year.

More than 423,000 Ohioans filed continued unemployment claims last week, which is more than 352,000 less than the peak.
