2020 is Taking a Toll on American's Mental Health

Eighty percent of Americans say pandemic is causing stress

The pandemic, elections, natural disasters, civil unrest is causing fear, stress and anxiety in Americans.

Several recent studies suggest Americans are stressed out.

The American Psychological Association (APA) found almost 80 percent of adults in the U.S. said the coronavirus pandemic is a significant source of stress in their lives and two out of three adults said they have experienced increased stress over the course of the pandemic. The APA found more than 62 percent of Americans feel more anxious than they did a year ago.
