The Ohio Department of Health (ODH) today reported 7,271 new cases of COVID-19, 98 hospitalizations and 31 deaths today.
ODH also reported 864,322 confirmed cases, 10,711 deaths and 44,783 hospitalizations. The department reported 731,088 presumed recoveries. According to ODH, 607,893 people who have received at least one dose of the COVID-19 vaccine.
ODH is now including antigen test results in the total number of cases (confirmed and probable). Governor Mike DeWine said antigen tests are "a bigger part of the overall picture of understanding COVID-19" and that it's important to capture that information.
