The Ohio Department of Health (ODH) reported 5,432 new cases of COVID-19, 256 hospitalizations and 75 deaths today.
ODH also reported 883,716 confirmed cases, 11,006 deaths and 45,786 hospitalizations. The department reported 764,480 presumed recoveries. According to ODH, 716,017 people who have received at least one dose of the COVID-19 vaccine.
ODH is now including antigen test results in the total number of cases (confirmed and probable). Governor Mike DeWine said antigen tests are "a bigger part of the overall picture of understanding COVID-19" and that it's important to capture that information.
