The Ohio Department of Health (ODH) reported 3,011 new cases of COVID-19, 80 hospitalizations and 54 deaths today.
ODH also reported 895,792 confirmed cases, 11,175 deaths and 46,215 hospitalizations. The department reported 779,888 presumed recoveries. According to ODH, 823,839 people who have received at least one dose of the COVID-19 vaccine.
ODH is now including antigen test results in the total number of cases (confirmed and probable). Governor Mike DeWine said antigen tests are "a bigger part of the overall picture of understanding COVID-19" and that it's important to capture that information.
