Today, the Ohio Department of Health (ODH) reported 3,657 new cases of COVID-19, 221 hospitalizations and 106 deaths.
ODH also reported 902,736 confirmed cases, 11,336 deaths and 46,659 hospitalizations. The department reported 793,766 presumed recoveries. According to ODH, 882,796 people who have received at least one dose of the COVID-19 vaccine.
ODH is now including antigen test results in the total number of cases (confirmed and probable). Governor Mike DeWine said antigen tests are "a bigger part of the overall picture of understanding COVID-19" and that it's important to capture that information.
