Many people are eager to return to the office, at least some of the time. But they may be forgetting something: What about the dogs and cats they are leaving behind?
For thousands of pets adopted during the pandemic, this will be the first time they'll regularly be left in their new home alone for extended periods. And, even for those whose owners worked outside the home before the pandemic, this will be another major disruption.
So, what should pet owners do to prepare their pets for a home that will suddenly be without any people for some or all of the workday?
