Today, the Ohio Department of Health (ODH) reported 9,143 new cases of COVID-19 and 247 new hospitalizations. The agency reported 293 additional deaths from the virus. Due to the Thanksgiving holiday, these numbers include those reported on Thursday.
ODH also reported 1,669,274 confirmed cases, 26,483 deaths and 85,472 hospitalizations. The agency also reported 1,542,888 presumed recoveries and indicated approximately 6,734,586 Ohioans have received at least one dose of the vaccine. This figure represents less than 58 percent of Ohioans - a very low figure compared to numbers nationwide.
