Today, the Ohio Department of Health (ODH) reported 6,745 new cases of COVID-19 and 461 new hospitalizations. The agency also reported 104 additional deaths from the virus.
ODH also reported 1,690,217 confirmed cases, 26,587 deaths and 86,453 hospitalizations. The agency also reported 1,559,671 presumed recoveries and indicated approximately 6,761,537 Ohioans have received at least one dose of the vaccine. This figure still represents less than 58 percent of Ohioans - a very low figure compared to numbers nationwide.
