After jumping past $4 a gallon in recent weeks, average gasoline prices have been steadily declining locally and across the country.
Ohio’s average price for regular gasoline Monday morning was $3.86, according to the American Automobile Association (AAA). That’s down from $3.96 last week and $4.09 a month ago. According to AAA, the national average Monday was $4.11, down about 20 cents in a month’s time.
In the Cuyahoga-Lorain County metro area, the average price for regular gas was $3.95 Monday, down from $4.09 a month ago, according to AAA.
