Today, the Ohio Department of Health (ODH) reported 11,013 new COVID-19 cases and 296 new hospitalizations for the week.
The agency also reported 65 additional deaths from COVID.
The ODH also reported 2,708,071 confirmed cases, 38,691 deaths and 115,576 hospitalizations. The agency also reported 7,314,770 Ohioans have received at least one dose of the vaccine; this figure represents 62.58 percent - a low figure compared to numbers nationwide. The national figure is 82.5 percent.
On March 14, 2022, the ODH announced it will only report COVID-19 data weekly rather than daily. This is in response to a significant decrease in cases and hospitalizations statewide. It will only be reported on Thursday; thus, OSAP will only report it on Thursdays, too.
