As it did three years ago, Amnesty International has issued a travel advisory for the United States urging travelers to the United States to exercise caution and to have an emergency contingency plan when travelling to the United States because of the spate of mass shootings.
“This travel advisory is being issued in light of the high levels of gun violence in the country,” said Amnesty International.
It further stated that travelers should be extra vigilant at all times; to avoid places where large numbers of people gather, especially cultural events, places of worship, schools, shopping malls and further to exercise increase caution when visiting local bars, nightclubs and casinos.
