OSAE Q2 Meeting | Coronavirus Pandemic Adaptation & Planning via Neuroscience & Behavioral Economics

Lunch & Learn! featuring Dr. Gleb Tsipursky

Webinar

Dr. Gleb Tsipursky

As we are still in the phase of staying "safe in place," and gatherings of 10 people or more are not yet permitted, we are doing our best to adapt while still providing valuable content for you.

Since we cannot meet in person for an educational luncheon meeting, OSAE is kicking off a version of a quarterly meeting that we will call "Lunch & Learn."

Join us on May 20 at 11:00 a.m. via Zoom, and learn from Dr. Gleb Tsipursky as he presents:

"COVID-19: Coronavirus Pandemic Adaptation and Planning via Neuroscience and Behavioral Economics for Association Executives."

In this engaging and entertaining presentation, you as an industry professional will dramatically improve your adaptation and planning for the COVID-19 coronavirus pandemic using cutting-edge neuroscience and behavioral economics-based strategies. Unfortunately, the pandemic hit the association industry harder than most sectors, given its dependence of in-person interaction, networking and community-building. Too many are operating in emergency mode in reacting to the short-term disruptions caused by the pandemic, hoping it will soon be over. Yet, realistic assessments by the best epidemiology experts suggest the pandemic will be around for the next 3 to 5 years until an effective vaccine is created and mass-produced.

Research shows that our gut reaction is to adapt to and plan for best-case scenarios and to focus on short-term threats, instead of taking a realistic and long-term perspective on slow-moving disasters, such as the COVID-19 pandemic. Instead, you need to shift your work and your association's internal and  external business model to adapt to the major disruption of the COVID-19 pandemic.

This presentation will offer you the neuroscience and behavioral economics-based strategies to navigate successfully the disruptions caused by the pandemic, ensuring that your association not only survives but thrives.
