OSAP Q1 Meeting - HR Hot Topics

What Has Companies' Attention in 2023?

Nationwide Hotel and Conference Center | 100 Green Meadows Drive | Lewis Center, Ohio, 43035

Join us for the Q1 Luncheon Meeting on March 8, 2023 featuring speaker Strategic HR's Director of Human Resources and Development, Cathleen Snyder who will present, HR Hot Topics - What Has Companies' Attention in 2023?

In some respects, HR is kind of like Ohio weather – stick around long enough, and things inevitably will change.  Some areas are more steady than others, and there are always areas that percolate when you least expect them.  The job market remains challenging, and keeping our current employees is more important than ever.  In this session, we’ll look at the latest developments in compensation, benefits, hiring, leadership development, tactics for employee engagement, retention and more.  You’ll gain insights on what your member organizations are experiencing so you can be the valued partner they need and want.

You also won't want to miss Cathleen's follow-up online workshop, Goals and KPIs – Where Do Employees’ Needs Fit In?

Even with our current economic uncertainty, the talent shortage persists.  It is more important than ever that employers are focused on keeping the talent they have.  What would employees have to say about their “experience” working for your organization? Employers often focus on processes to make life easier for employees, but are they really providing the experience the employees are looking for?  Are you meeting their needs?  Do employees feel supported in their path to achieving success? For years, companies have been laser focused on business metrics and customer satisfaction.  It’s time to shift that laser to the Employee Experience.  If we are meeting our employees’ needs, achieving our business and customer goals is sure to follow.  Join us for this 90 minute session where we’ll dive in to what employees are really looking for.

Registration for the luncheon is closed.  Please reach out to Jeanne Hoffman at jeanne@ohiosap.org for availability.
