American Associations Day 2019

ASAE Legislative Fly-in

Washington, D.C.

American Associations Day is the only legislative fly-in where association professionals like you can connect with Congressional offices and share your story on important association issues. From tax reform to defending association meetings, there is no shortage of issues that threaten the association community. There has never been a more important time to showcase our value to society.

This unique opportunity allows you, as an association professional, to create connections with policy-makers that will not only advance the association industry, but your own organization as well. Join the ASAE Board reception and network with leaders in our field.

The strength of an industry is profoundly impacted by the value it places on advocacy. It is critical that we share with Congress The Power of A message: associations make the world smarter, safer and better every day. Because if they don’t know, how will they stand up for us?

Join us to learn about association policy issues and to get valuable face time with colleagues from your home state, association CEOs, the ASAE Board of Directors and other leaders in the association community. You don’t need to have a background in government relations to join!

There is no registration fee for this event. Additionally, a scholarship is available for attendees from outside the DC-metro area. This event also includes 3.25 CAE credit hours. To register, please click here.

For questions, please contact Nate Fisher, ASAE public policy manager, at (202) 626-2719 or nfisher@asaecenter.orgTo see the schedule click here. To read about the scholarship, or find out more visit http://www.thepowerofa.org/hillvisit/.

We look forward to seeing many of you there. Together, we can show Congress the power of associations.
