Senior Manager of Conferences
The American Society for Nondestructive Testing
The conference department of the American Society for Nondestructive Testing (ASNT) oversees an annual conference and tradeshow of 2000 attendees and 200 companies, as well as up to five smaller meetings each year.
They are looking for an experienced meeting planner who is eager to build upon an existing professional skillset to deliver exceptional experiences at ASNT conferences, exhibits and training programs.
The ideal candidate should be poised and mature, comfortable coordinating a variety of programs and services simultaneously, and be able to problem-solve proactively while maintaining a keen eye for detail and organization.
Must have:
- at least 10 years meeting planning experience
- ability to think strategically
- proven skills in negotiations
- excellent verbal and written communication skills
- experience managing staff
The ideal candidate will also have experience with nonprofit association management, an international membership base, tradeshows and training programs.
