Manager, Administrative and Organizational Services

Applications are being accepted for the position of Administrative and Organizational Services Manager with the Ohio Soybean Association and Ohio Soybean Council in Worthington, Ohio.

The Ohio Soybean Association (OSA) is a member-driven grassroots organization dedicated to improving the business climate for Ohio soybean producers. OSA’s mission is to advocate through member engagement to influence policy, regulation, and legislation that benefit Ohio soybean farmers and industry. OSA is governed by a board of soybean producers and soybean industry partners. The Ohio Soybean Council (OSC) is the Qualified State Soybean Board for Ohio. OSC’s mission is to invest Ohio soybean checkoff funds to maximize the value of soybeans and increase profit opportunities for Ohio farmers. OSC is governed by a board of Ohio soybean producers.

Responsibilities would include, but not be limited to:

  • Board Support and Development
  • Facilities, Office and Equipment Management
  • Human Resources Management
  • Project Services/Organizational Services

Qualifications include:

  • Bachelor's degree in relevant field or equivalent experience
  • 5+ years of experience in areas of importance to the job, including project management, office administration and management, and human resources
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and frequent deadlines
  • Ability to work independently and as a leader of small teams
  • Familiarity with agriculture and farming preferred
  • Familiarity with trade associations and member-based organizations preferred
  • Strong oral and written communication skills
  • Proficiency with word processing, spreadsheet and presentation software
  • Ability to travel as needed, both within and outside Ohio
  • Self-motivated, creative, and organized
