Be it social media, emails, forums or other messaging apps, member communication can be overwhelming—and there is such a thing as “communication fatigue,” which can disengage members completely.
But have no fear: Your organization can take steps to minimize any communication fatigue and keep members in the loop. A new MemberClicks blog post says to start simple by asking for member preferences. What do they want to hear about, and how do they want to receive that information?
Once you gain that insight, you can be a little more strategic. Think about different ways to segment members to ensure the right information reaches the right group of people in the right way—or refresh your overall communication strategy to include new ways of reaching out.
