ASAE Announces 160 Professionals Earned Prominent CAE Credential

OSAE's own Cristina Muñoz Nedrow obtained the credential

One hundred and sixty association executives recently received their Certified Association Executive (CAE) credential from the CAE Commission of ASAE, joining more than 4,300 industry leaders worldwide. Regional Director of the Ohio Education Association Cristina Muñoz Nedrow, CAE, is among those who obtained the credential.

The Winter 2019 class of CAEs successfully completed the CAE examination administered nationwide on Dec. 7, 2018. They will be honored, along with the summer class of CAEs, during the 2019 ASAE Annual Meeting & Exposition in Columbus, August 10-13. A full listing of the Winter 2019 class can be accessed here.

“Each of the new CAE’s has demonstrated tremendous dedication throughout this process. Becoming a CAE is an achievement that is truly earned,” said Lowell Aplebaum, CAE, CPF, chair of the CAE Commission and chief executive officer & strategy catalyst of Vista Cova.

"OSAE is so excited for Cristina to have earned her credential," said OSAE President & CEO Jarrod A. Clabaugh, CAE. "She was committed from the start, and she worked very hard to achieve this feat. We are very proud of her and her commitment to industry excellence."

The CAE program serves to elevate professional standards, enhance individual performance, and designate those who have acquired and have demonstrated knowledge essential to the practice of association management. The CAE program is accredited by the National Commission for Certifying Agencies (NCCA).

The next CAE examination will be administered on May 3, 2019. The application deadline is Friday, Feb. 22. For more details about the CAE exam, visit asaecenter.org/cae
