One hundred and thirty-one association executives recently earned their Certified Association Executive (CAE®) credential from the CAE Commission of ASAE, joining more than 4,300 industry leaders worldwide.
The Summer 2019 class of CAEs successfully completed the CAE examination administered nationwide on May 3, 2019. They will be honored, along with the winter class of CAEs, during the 2019 ASAE Annual Meeting & Exposition in Columbus, August 10-13. Of those 131 who earned their CAE credential, two were OSAE members: Kimberly Laugherty, CAE and Terry Morse, CAE. Congratulations to both of these individuals who also participated in OSAE's CAE study course during the spring of 2019.
"OSAE is extremely proud of both Kim and Terry for earning this industry credential," said OSAE President & CEO Jarrod A. Clabaugh, CAE. "They were both very committed from the start and worked very hard to achieve this voluntary accreditation. The organization and board of directors are very proud of them and their unwavering commitment to industry excellence."
“Congratulations to the new class of CAEs! Your commitment to increasing your knowledge of association management practices, combined with your ongoing commitment to the community, will help your career and improve the organizations you serve,” said Lowell M. Aplebaum, CAE, chair of the CAE Commission and CEO & Strategy Catalyst for Vista Cova.
The CAE Program elevates professional standards, enhances individual performance, and designates those who have acquired and have demonstrated the knowledge essential to the practice of association management. The CAE Program is accredited by the National Commission for Certifying Agencies (NCCA).
The next CAE examination will be administered on December 6. The application deadline is Sept. 27. For more details about the CAE exam, visit asaecenter.org/cae.
