OTA Announces Update on the Smart Mobility Corridor

The organization is holding its third-annual technology day Nov. 14, 2019

Back by popular demand, the Ohio Trucking Association's (OTA) third-annual Technology Conference will take place in Westerville, Ohio on Thursday, Nov. 14, 2019. This year's theme is Tech ROI - Achieving Profitability and Compliance with Technology. The conference is presented by EROAD.
 
Keynote: Patrick Smith of DriveOhio
Smart Technology Being Used in Your Backyard: Ohio's Smart Mobility Initiatives
 
Prior to his position as interim executive director with DriveOhio, Smith served as director of regulations and policy and as the administrator of legislative affairs at the Ohio Department of Transportation. Smith is passionate about state projects that support the testing of autonomous and connected vehicles and the deployment of smart mobility technologies.
 
He will be providing an update on the 35-mile stretch of U.S. 33 between Dublin and East Liberty, through Marysville, that will serve as testing location for autonomous and connected vehicles.
