Volunteer Meetings Go Viral
Associations are succeeding at staying connected with their volunteers despite the COVID-19 crisis, deploying virtual tools to keep volunteers engaged, according to this week’s edition of the ASAE Research Foundation’s Association Impact Snapshot survey.
About two-thirds of respondents said they have transitioned their volunteer meetings to virtual settings, particularly those involving small groups. For meetings of less than 10 attendees, 67.6 percent of respondents said they had gone virtual. Slightly less (63.4 percent) did so for meetings with 11 to 50 attendees, and 56.9 percent switched to virtual meetings when more than 50 volunteers were involved.
