Husted Reminds Ohioans Most BMV Business Can be Done Online
He shared this as locations prepare to reopen
Ohio's BMV locations are set to reopen on May 26 after being closed by the coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic. However, with social distancing still a concern, officials do not want hordes of people getting in line the second business starts again.
Earlier this week, Lt. Gov. Jon Husted made that known during a press conference with the governor. Although physical locations will be open, Husted reminded people most BMV things Ohioans can be obtained online at bmv.ohio.gov.
"Don't feel that you have to run out and do this stuff on Tuesday just because the BMV is open," he said. "[We're] encouraging people to use the online resources."
