COVID-19 Update: 29,288 Confirmed Cases, 1,756 Deaths in Ohio

This is a look at coronavirus-related developments in Ohio as of May 23, 2020, per the Ohio Department of Health (ODH). There are 29,288 confirmed cases of COVID-19, 1,756 deaths and 5,403 hospitalizations. Additionally, ODH reported 2,120 probable cases and 200 additional deaths under an expanded case definition of COVID-19 from the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC).
