WHO's Updated Event Guidelines
The World Health Organization has released an update for its recommended guidelines for holding mass gatherings amid COVID-19.

Released roughly two months after its initial guidance during the start of the outbreak, WHO’s new document offers up suggestions for risk assessment, planning, and other high-level considerations for holding an event in the current climate.

“Since mass gatherings have substantial political, cultural, social, and economic implications, authorities should assess the importance and necessity of an event and consider the option that it may take place, provided all associated public health risks are adequately addressed and mitigated,” the interim guidance states.
