Advocacy Update: We Need Your Help to Get PPP Inclusion

Too many associations have been left out in the cold

Dear OSAE members and industry leaders,

As Congress approaches negotiations on the next major COVID-19 (coronavirus) relief measure, OSAE is asking you to once again urge lawmakers to quit ignoring the needs of 501(c)(6) organizations and include support for them in the Paycheck Protection Program (PPP).

Please select this link to submit your support for our valuable industry - one that generates more than $9 million in annual revenue for the state of Ohio alone!

While a final relief measure is likely to pass in late July or early August, Senate leadership could release proposals as early as next week. OSAE is working with ASAE to demonstrate to Congress Ohio's nonprofit association community’s need for PPP relief; however, we need your help to ensure associations are included in any proposal.

Via ASAE's automated form letter, you can easily write your lawmakers directly, urging them to include nonprofit associations in the PPP.

I thank you for taking action to support our community and industries nationwide. We will continue to provide updates as new information becomes available.

Sincerely,
Jarrod A. Clabaugh, CAE
President & CEO,
Ohio Society of Association Executives
