COVID-19 Update: 66,549 Confirmed Cases in Ohio, 2,849 Deaths

Today, the Ohio Department of Health (ODH) released the state’s latest COVID-19 (coronavirus) statistics. The agency reported 1,253 newly confirmed cases and 117 new hospitalizations.
Additionally, the department reported 66,540 confirmed cases, 2,849 deaths, 9,244 hospitalizations and 48,330 presumed recoveries.
ODH is also reporting 4,061 probable cases and 254 additional deaths under an expanded case definition of COVID-19 from the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC).
