Ohio Experiences New High of Hospitalizations from COVID-19 Since Start of Pandemic
ICU admissions, ventilator use are climbing
The Ohio Department of Health (ODH) said it saw a new high for hospitalizations this week due to COVID-19 since the pandemic began in March.
The state said 1,122 COVID-positive patients were being treated in Ohio hospitals on Tuesday. The previous high of 1,103 was reached in late April.
Of the patients being treated on Tuesday, 348 were in the ICU and 174 were on a ventilator.
