Hilliard City Schools Plans COVID-19 Tracing Pilot Program With Ohio State

This will allow officials to plan quarantine strategies

Hilliard City Schools has plans to develop an early warning system for potential COVID-19 outbreaks within the distric through a partnership with The Ohio State University, allowing the school and health officials to plan quarantine strategies.

School board members were set to get an update on the CATS (Covid-19 Analytics and Targeted Surveillance) program at meeting scheduled for Monday night.

Hilliard students were beginning the new school year at home through remote learning online. A resolution the board was scheduled to consider could start hybrid learning, which would put students in classrooms certain days of the week. for K-5th grade on Monday, August 31 and all students grades K-12 Tuesday, Sept. 8, according to the work session agenda.
