GOP State Lawmaker Leads Effort to Impeach Governor DeWine

The effort is related to DeWine's coronavirus response

Republican state representative John Becker, from Clermont County, announced Monday he has drafted ten articles of impeachment against Ohio Governor Mike DeWine over his response to the coronavirus pandemic.

Becker, in a press release, accused DeWine of violating the Ohio and United States Constitutions and sections of the Ohio Revised Code.

Becker is taking issue with DeWine's decisions on which businesses are open and closed and the state mask mandate.
