Some Large Ohio Companies Thrive Amid COVID Shopping Changes

Many are not so lucky

The COVID-19 (novel coronavirus) pandemic has battered the economy, closed restaurants and other small businesses and sent unemployment soaring.

Yet, some of Ohio’s biggest companies have thrived in the stay-at-home economy, some posting record summers as their stock prices surge.

“What we’re seeing in the market is a reflection of the accelerated shift toward digital and renewed emphasis on home improvements with many people working from home or having sheltered in lace for an extended period,” said Greg McBride, Bankrate.com’s chief financial analyst.
