Ohio Department of Taxation Expands Online Services
The new service allows taxpayers to electronically respond to department notices
The Ohio Department of Taxation announced a new feature, Online Notice Response Service, which is now available for individual/school district income, business, and excise taxes. This new service allows taxpayers and tax practitioners to electronically respond to notices issued by the Department, reply to the Department's request for additional information, file an appeal(s) or submit eligible forms electronically.
You can access the Online Notice Response Service through the Ohio Business Gateway or at tax.ohio.gov using your Gateway username and password. When utilizing this new service, keep your notice or form handy as the required information to utilize the Online Notice Response Service has been added to the notices mailed by the Department and eligible forms.
