COVID-19 Update: 193,451 Confirmed Cases, 4,944 Deaths

Today, the Ohio Department of Health (ODH) released the latest statistics tied to the coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic. ODH reported 2,382 newly confirmed cases of COVID-19 and 167 hospitalizations today. 

It also reported 193,451 confirmed cases, 4,944 deaths and 18,338 hospitalizations. The department also reported 163,472 presumed recoveries. 

ODH also reported 11,896 probable cases and 312 additional deaths under an expanded case definition of COVID-19 from the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC).
